2001 Eurovan front shocks

I want to replace the front shocks myself on my 2001 Eurovan. How deep into trouble am I getting?

haven't done it myself (but will within the next few weeks...I have a '00 Eurovan with a HR cup kit ready to go on) but from what I read it's EAAAAASSSYYYY!!!!
