The Mechanism that allows me to shift to reverse and fifth gear is not working...anyone know the exact name of the part I need to replace?

I just picked one of these on ebay:

I was having lots of trouble getting into reverse, and sometimes missing third (only 4 speeds on mine)
At online retailers (in the U.S.) they seem to go for about $20, so maybe 10 pounds? (my keyboard doesn't do the symbol)
