91 Jetta engine ID

I have a 1991 VW Jetta ( Mexico), gas, 4dr.

Can anyone direct me to a website giving info on how I can identify what engine configuration I have? The 4th VIN digit is "A".

I think my group of choices are (1.8L) JH, GX, MZ, HT, RD, RV, PF, and PL.
