Anyone else out there experiencing a failure of the ABS module on 99 passats?
apparently the system is fault prone and has been recalled on the parallel audi but not the vw's.

Your information is incorrect. At our shop, we maybe have replace 3 or 4 since the 98 Passat came out. Why you ask, did yours die?
I have a '94 GLX and my ABS causes my brake pedal to jump up and down all the time during normal driving. I had the ABS sensors on the wheels and a new ABS control box and switch replaced, and it is still doing it. So, 2K later, nothing is fixed. Not sure what to do next.
