Sure, it's a question I should have asked before I bought my 1998 Jetta TDI, but I didn't expect to have an alert within a week.
The car runs fine, but obviously I'd like to troubleshoot the code to head off any problems. Can any OBDII compliant scanner do it? Is there a URL to find the VW-specific codes?
