You may want to try AutoZone. They have been known to do it for free.
It also would help if you included the year and model car and engine. Some require different testers.
I just bought the 94 Passat GLX 5-speed. The engine light has been on constantly for my short drive to work. Today, it finally warmed up outside and the Engine light went out when temp gage hit around 150. I am gonna test this theory again tomorrow. I just passed the E-Check today with really low numbers. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks,
