Is there a way to set the turn-on volume of the monsoon sterero (2K passat) with the VAG cable and software?

Look in the manual that came with the car. I know I found directions for it a couple of years ago for my 01 jetta with the monsoon stereo.
If you hold in the TP button for 2 seconds this should bring up a menu, use the volume control to change the value and the tuning buttons on right side of radio to cycle through options. One of the options is Turn on volume.
