Need Advice: Vanagon Heaters

I'm looking for a way to heat my 1984 Vanagon-Westfalia in the coming winter. I've found a couple solutions, but I wanted to get some feedback from the newsgroup:

Solution 1 ========== Propex Heatsource 1800, $1048

This seems to be the best solution. It fits nicely under the rear seat and has an intake/exhast that are routed to the under/outside of the vehicle. It barely uses any electricity and there seems to be several HOW-TO's written on it's installation.

But, this is a bit out of my price range.

Solution 2 ========== Olympian Wave 8, $400-$500

This seems to be an ok solution. But it would take up floor space and since there doesn't appear to be any exhast method, I'm a little worried about sleeping with it on.

Although this price point seems to be ok.

I'm looking for any additional information or suggestions, let me know if you have any ideas.

Bump.

Anyone have any ideas on heating a VW Vanagon-Westfalia? Hopefully using the internal propane tank, contained within one of the storage/cabinets (while running) and is safe for sleeping?

Thanks in advance.
