Does anyone have a program or some sort of chart to use to calculate the fuel mileage of a VW Diesel or any car for that matter. I have collected the fule information of every fuel stop since I bought my 92 Jetta EcoDiesel in October of 1992. If anyone would like to see my data please let me know!! It is kinda interesting.
Program for calculating mileage....

It does not require much. I set up a spreadsheet one slow day at work. It shows the date of each stop, amount purchased, the average up to that date and a running average (last few and next few stops in addition to the current one weighted to the most current), notes and the graphs the mpg, and the two averages.
Why not just make up your own?

Here's one I found on a Google search:

I just divide the miles since the last fillup by the gallons to fillup to get the mpg and then reset my trip meter each time. Anymore than that might be a little bit anal.

=(2*F46+F45+F47)/4
Column "F" is the mpg for each fill up. This formula is on line 46. It takes the computed mileage from the prior fill up and the next fill up and two times the current fill up then divides by 4. Of course the first and last fill up is not accurate.
Here are the last few for my TDI
48.2 48.7 46.8 49.1 56.5 Trip 56.5 Trip 50.4 48.9 49.4Try:

Wish I could say yes and send it to you. I programmed a very nice standard/metric
coverter for distance, length, temperature and pressure. It also calculated fuel effeciency.
Hard drive crashed and I lost the program. I wished I had backed it up :(
I had created it in QuickBasic a few years ago.
