If I replace the ball joints on my 81 Rabbit Convertible will I have to do a front end alignment? I'm going to replace springs and shocks as soon as they get here but the ball joints are here now. I only want to have to pay for one alignment.

Ideally you should have it aligned, but its not going to be very far off so as long as you weren't planning a 1000 mile road trip in between installs, it would probably be OK to drive around town a bit.
Thanks Roger, I never got a chance to tell you that I saw one of your "Missing Links Z" at the waterwagens show up near Seattle. The guy was showing his rabbit and listed your linkage as one of his upgrades.
