Anyone know if its possible to swap syncro or 4motion into my 4dr mk3 2,0

16v(swapped)

Sure, just about anything can be done, it's just a matter of how much work you want to do, in this case, it's a lot.

Considering that replacing the floor pan on a car with an integral body involves a lot of cutting and welding I would second that. ;-)

VW in Europe built Mk3 VR6 Syncro Golfs so all the parts to do the swap should be available from VW. Quite a lot of work to remove the floorpan and weld in the new one and I'd assume the parts won't be cheap from VW. Since you're in the Netherlands it's probably going to be much cheaper just to go to Germany and find a good VR6 syncro Golf, or find one needing work and buy it for the shell. Not sure what you'd do about a gearbox though, don't think the VR6 one fits a 16V and the Rallye Golf's gearbox ratio's wouldn't suit the 16V.

Homer.

you could just wait and get an R32, then you get VR6 and 4motion, and a nice little rear badge too.
