tiptronic problem solved

hi My tiptronic acted as automatic - D mode when switching over to the manual (+ ,-) side. The problem was that the wire of the air mass sensor had been disconnected from its place for some reason. Just to let you know if somebody faces the same problem.

cheers, -peppe

I replied to your earlier message (I've been out of town).

I would assume I will find the air mass sensor in (or just ahead of) the throttle body?
