Hi,
I wax my Jetta regularly. But every time, some wax gets on the body trims, which looks disturbing and is really difficult to remove.
what kind of cleaning material should I use to clean them off the trims?

Try an old toothbrush to get in the various cracks and crevices.
I tried that before, never get it really clean. There must be better way to clean the wax.

Use the toothbrush and WD40.
Be neater when you apply the wax?
I suppose you could always mask the trim when you are waxing, but that's time consuming, and really there isn't much that you can do about the wax. Try using WD-40...I have used it and it seems to work relatively well..

We have a bottle of "Back to black". I think it was $3 at Pepboys and it cleans it up pretty well when you make a mess on the trim...
WD-40 is also great for removing tape residue, like duct tape or masking tape from surfaces.

There is canned wax remover that is used by body repair shops. I have had good success with windex also.
