I have a 90 wv jetta and all the outdoor lights work fine when I have my headlights off, but when I turn my headlights on .... my right front and right rear blinkers do not work at all. It started around a month ago when I had a light bulb changed for my right tail light.
what is up with my lights?

Change out that light again. I am guessing it is a defective light and the filament for the tail light is shorting out against the filament for the turn signal.
my money is on this too
Likely.
I've also had the right bulb installed wrong. A bayonet two-filament type which the "repair" guy somehow managed to put in backwards. He failed to notice that the brake light on that side was awfully bright and didn't seem to think it strange that it was so hard to get into the socket.
