window finally got me.

Bad news: the driver's side window regulator busted on my GTI.

Good news: ought to be covered under the recall thing.

Bad news: needs to be taken care of right away, as it's been raining every day for months now and I don't have a garage

Good news: broke at 5 PM and dealership service department closes at 7.

Bad news: I was in Beltsville, the VW dealer is in Annapolis, and I live in Bowie.

Good news: the guy in whose driveway I'm storing my '62 Stude lives in Annapolis, 10 min. from the dealership.

Bad news: it's 90 degrees out and the Stude doesn't have A/C.

Good news: even though *I* overheated on the way home, the Stude did not.

Bad news: I was supposed to have a date in VA tomorrow night, and do NOT feel like driving a Stude around the Beltway, especially one that has had maybe 200 miles on it since 1968.

um... whatever. just had to vent. (heh)
