Leaking power steering fluid -- '82 S10

My '82 Chevy S10 is leaking power steering fluid. I bought it recently, so I don't know the history of the problem. Maybe it just started, but the steering has always had a lot of play in it.

I found out because there was a whirl coming from the pump, then the PS pretty much stopped working, so I checked the fluid, it was low, I added a half a quart of good fluid, then it started leaking really bad -- about 2 Tbs a day, I'd estimate.

I haven't gotten under the truck for a good look, but where should I start?

Thanks,

MattClark

Probably on your back.

From there, check the pressure hose, and check to see if the front shaft seal is leaking.

================== A good place to start would be under the truck for a good look. :)
