Ignore the lite and EGR until you get the thing starting, idling and running
does the car start and run, what are symptoms while running?
does it start better when flooring the pedal during cranking?
If so, change the ECT
does it start better when pumping the pedal during cranking?
If so, look for vacuum leak, plug off all accessory vacuum at engine, if it
still starts better pumping pedal, make sure the isc isnt jammed or inop.
heck change the ECT anyway and verify the wiring.
(just to make sure.. you know the ECT is the two-wire sensor, right?, check
wiring by testing for 5 volts in connector with ign on)
and nice touch not being specific about the wiring problems... keeps this
drama going longer ..
