My 96 GMC Sierra started this problem where the alarm wouldn't disarm and it would intermittently go off without reason. Now it goes off when I turn the key switch to start the truck and the truck won't start until I disarm it with the unlock button on my remote keyless entry. It is like it is stuck backwards. Active when the keyswitch is on instead of off. I have tried removing the battery cables for a reset of the system but this hasn't helped. Can anyone give a poor soul some help on this annoying problem?
