Got a '93 pontiac Sunbird, 3.1 ltr. Multiport fuel injection (V6). Car
starts fine during the warm parts of the year, but in cold weather
(mornings) it has a tough time wanting to start, i turn key on, hear the
injecter pump kick on, then cut off when pressure reachs optimum, that all
works ok. However, it takes 15-20 times of turning over engine to finally
start. it some times hits for a millisecond, then dies, then i try again
till it cranks. is it a map sensor problem? or do the injectors have
somthing to do with the terrible time i have cranking it first thing in
the morning? the engine has a few miles on it, however not wore out.
(note: once it cranks, the rest of the day it cranks instantly and runs
perfectly.)
