Are ALL the graphics on the cars "painted" or are they all one huge decal? Not talking about the small sponsor logos but the overall graphics.

Base color paint jobs with big sheets of stickers. I saw one of Jeff Gordon's cars for sale minus decals... looked like I tried to paint it.

On one of the Spike TV car shows (Horsepower TV?) they built a race car that they painted black and then had a big decal made for it. They went through the whole process of designing the decal, a visit to the company that made it (printed it out) and then installing it on the car.

Almost all are vinyl 'wraps' that are pre-printed. Easier to apply (and fix after messin' with the wall...) Easier to change (to sell more silly Chinese made die cast cars...) Here's some intersting reading.. Jeff
