How can I lower my Tundra's suspension????

Well, what I meant was this: See what I said above about "no valid reason"? I said that once in some other forum - don't recall which. Some guy responded by saying that this was America and it was his god-given right to own anything he wanted, even if he knew full well his vehicle was such a pig that it was an insult to society at large. :-) I stood corrected. Sort of.

I've seen some of the step bars that are really sturdy but as you both state they are a one foot step. I have to agree with both of you that a stool would give a person more room to stand and manuver on. davidj92

Awhile back, I went to a shop that specialized in handicapped folks. I was looking for maybe a two-step unit that would retract under the body. No such animal.

Great idea for a source - years ago a friend of my brother's (Polio victim) ran a shop like that here in San Diego. I really liked the hydraulic lifts that came out of the side of the vans - the 2" articulated lip on the raising deck to keep the chair from rolling out was just too cool. I don't know whatever happened to the shop.

Googled for "truck steps handicap" and found Stargatelift in one of the hits. Googled for that and found

Seems Stargatelift is out of business or their web site is down. There might be more if you google. HTH, davidj92

Went back and watched the videos on the site. The one for the Ford truck has a removable platform you can add to the powerstep if needed. Pretty cool. davidj92

It's up this morning - a good set of applications. The step on the running board for the pickup should be automated. Thanks for the link!
