.................Except for the spare tire well, it actually looks pretty solid to me. If it was close by to upstate NY, I'd bid on it. Affordable good 40 year old sheet metal has pretty much disappeared around here.

Actually, it's a nice pan to restore and do a parts-swap with a modern Mexican Beetle.(like BeetleMex does).
