.................Except for the spare tire well, it actually looks pretty solid to me. If it was close by to upstate NY, I'd bid on it. Affordable good 40 year old sheet metal has pretty much disappeared around here.

Looks almost the same as my bug when i bought it......... Only mine costed about $ 5000,- Which is only 4 years older...... A real bargan....

If I were in that area, I'd buy it just to get the radio out of it.
I got family out that way.. but I don't know if they'd appreciate me going national with my acvw preoccupation.

Actually, it's a nice pan to restore and do a parts-swap with a modern Mexican Beetle.(like BeetleMex does).
I like the rolled sod - lol.
