Clicking sound from RF area.

I've got a '92 GMC 4X4 PU. Lately when my truck is cold, there is a clicking sound, something like a stone in the tire. It is there when cold, but goes away in a few minutes of driving. Is this a CV joint going bad?

most of the time you hear a cv joint clicking on turns and all the time not just when it warm or cold.
