has anyone used Permatex Rust Treatment. its not Navey jell but I been told that it works / BUT I love to here from some one that used it. if it works and it will not harm a new paint job !!! From there web site Permatex® Rust Treatment

If it's Permatex Rust Extender:I can say authauratively: "It SUCKS!"I now use Plasti Kote Rust Converter, it comes in a black plastic bottle,and is a beige colored liquid, which requires brushing.After trying most on the market, including SEM rust Mort, which works fairlywell, I'm sold on the Plasti Kote. OK I Think I know Permatex did not work for you . I will get some Plasti Kote Rust Converter I have small rusts spots, old rock hits and some rust around the fenders . They are not that bad . Thanks for the info Richard Brandstetter

Permatex used to be part of Loctite Corp.  They were sold back in the late90's and now are representing themselves as a manufacturer of the samequality products.  This is not the case as most of the line is sourcedthrough various other lesser known manufacturers.  This could be thesource of the quality problems with their products.

I did get Plasti Kote Rust Converter It worked and had the S10 painted I looks good BUT when I pick it up there was a dent in the fender . they trey to tell me it was there when they got it . I did take photos before taking in and it go in today to be repaired at there cost. before I take in I will take more photos . I will post photo to my WebPages later this week Always take photos!!!!
