putting a biger engin in ....

hi iam justin i have a 1985 s10 i bought it for like 1200 but the engin was shot ... it was a 2.8l but to the main point i want to a 4.3l engin in but the bell housing dont line up with the smaller tranny. i was wondering if i could get a kit or some thing to make that tranny work or do i hve to get a biger tranny for it... i got the 4.3 from an auto but i want to make it standered but like i siad the trany i got i think is to small so if any one got any sagetions it would be greatly eprsheated thanks

At 12 bucks, it would have been a great deal

For 120 bucks, a decent price to take a junker off someone's hands

But 1200?
