That actually depends on what aspect ratio the tires are. A 285/55/16 is approximately the same diameter as a 225/70/16. mcfitzgerald, give us the starting size and someone can tell you what wider tire is approx. the same diameter, then you can shop around and see if it's made. Going from a 225 to a 265 is a BIG jump in width, you may not find what you need if you want to go without a correction.
Just some info to help him, not saying he wanted to do this without correcting the speedomter...
