I recently purchased an '01 3.2TL (76,000 kms) and have been reading about some tranny issues and recalls that seem to be inherent in this model. Can someone please tell me what model years are affected, what the warranty says (is it a true recall?) and what some of the first signs of a tranny failure have been for current owners. Contact Honda Canada for warranty details on your car since your transmission is under warrantty for 7 years or 160,000 kms. The first sign of failure on mine at 48,000 kms was slippage when in second gear. A couple days later it failed completely.
