Hello all,
are the oil used in Audi A4's gear box the same ? Manual shift = auto-transmission = tiptronic / multitronic ??
Somebody said they are equivalent, and what's the grade / standard of oil should be used.

No, they are not the same. For the manual gearbox you need GL-4 spec. =
75w-90 oil. Not sure what kind of ATF is needed for the auto tranny = though,but I'm sure a call to the dealer will answer your question.Cheers,
