My Astro stater seems to have died this morning. I've got plenty of battery and ran a jumper on it but when I try to start all I get is one click from the solenoid trying to give it juice but nothing happens. I removed the large cable and cleaned the teminal but that doen't work. There was no warning that there was any problems. It sat overnite and just seems to have died. Any ideas or suggestions on removing the starter? Thanks

When my battery died, it acted like someone shot it. Worked fine one minute, and nothing the next. One thing to watch out for is the battery cables. I have had cables that were corroded under the insulation. Had no idea they were bad till I cut into them.
Turned out to be the cable on the solenoid to the starter motor. Dropped the starter to get to it and cleaned all the connections. Started right up.
