98 c1500 and glasspaks

I just got a 98 C1500. My good buddy (he's 60ish like me) is urging me to put on glasspaks. I think it'd be fun. Any attaboys or warnings?

thanks, Ed

You won't be impressed with glasspaks behind cat converters. don't waste the money on the glass paks, just put straight pipes behind the cats. They make pretty good mufflers.

Shouldn't take mufflers to pass inspection if it's quiet enough.

It will if they have a visual inspection criteria. No Muffler = No Pass.
