Does anyone know if I can change the behavior of the power locks on my 99 Silverado 1500. They lock once the vehicle reaches 15 mph. This wouldn't be so annoying if they would unlock when the vehicle was parked. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I bought the lock module that this company sells when I had the same irritations about the 99 Silverado I owned at the time. It was a very high quality device, worked exactly as they said it would, was pretty easy to install, and has worked well for 100,000 miles now (my son has the truck).
It's the only way to alter the lock behavior of that vintage vehicle without paying the dealer a bunch of money to do it.
