tilting 03 silverado

my 03 silverado 2wd xcab is 1" lower in the front and 2" lower in the back on the driver's side. And no I'm not that big a boy... I bought it used but did not notice this until I was washing it the other day. Is there any adjustment in the rear springs to help level it. the front are coils.

thanks for any help. bob b

They ALL seem to lean, and right at the lot. Bring a Tape measure to the Chevy dealer and check! The fix for this, ad a second rubber spring Isolator that's on the top of the left front spring. This will in effect raise the left from of the truck up and correct the problem. I do a lot of lowering jobs, usually 2" in front and 4" in back using all new springs. (Yes even with NEW replacement springs they still lean.) I also keep a bunch of new Front spring Isolators in stock so that it can be doubled up and there for be level. It's more noticeable when you have a smaller gap between the tire and fender, not to mention the left side tends to want to bottom out more then the right. In fact this would be how the Chevy dealer would correct the problem.

FWIW, i have noticed this myself on my '01 2wd ext cab since i bought the truck. I just brushed it off as an insignificant pecadillo, and not worth fixing. But now that you have explained how simple it is to fix, i think i'm going to have it done.

Do the dealers know about this problem?
