More research reveals these are NOT the error codes, but rather console software version numbers. I found I have EGR VALVE and MISFIRE ON CYLINDER 3 codes displayed when done correctly. I needed to cycle key on and off twice to see the "P" codes, whereas the ODO button reveals…

You can start with giving it a tune up and A good set of plug wires, that will probably eliminate the misfire codes
