Looked under car and metal brake line rotted thru just in front of left rear tire. The hose it connects to looks marginal so decided we should replace it all from master cylinder back to caliper.
Problem is this hose seems to be close to impossible to procure. This is the hose that threads thru the arm that holds the rear suspension in place. My neighbor who owns a local garage claims Chrysler stopped using these style hoses around 1998 and it might take 2 weeks to find a source for them..
Anyone else run into this with brake parts. I know 1988 was back awhile but it seems surprising if they were using them in 1998 that they have purged most of this stock. Steve
