99 caravan transmission

Hi all! How do i find out what transmission i have in my 1999 caravan se



3.0 also have there been any recalls on the transmission. On the instrument panel it shows L 3 D R P, not even sure if it has overdrive or not.

I don't think it shows L 3 D R P. Do you read backwards all the time?

If it shows P R N D 3 L, it's the 4-speed electronic overdrive automatic.

If it shows P R N D 2 1, it's the 3-speed hydromechanical automatic.
