I have a habit of leaving my headlights on which discharges the battery. After I charge the battery I start the car. Now I've been told that it takes a few miles for the computer to reset itself. When I first drive after recharging the battery, my car seems to run much better, much more get up and go. Is this my imagination or is there a basis for this?
Does PT run better after battery goes dead?

Probably running richer till the adaptive learning is able to take place and lean out the mixture to near stoichometric.
