I have a habit of leaving my headlights on which discharges the battery. After I charge the battery I start the car. Now I've been told that it takes a few miles for the computer to reset itself. When I first drive after recharging the battery, my car seems to run much better, much more get up and go. Is this my imagination or is there a basis for this?
