flexible fuel?

Looks OK. The big virtue of factory FFV programs is the availability of methanol proof injectors and other stuff homebrew alcohol hot rods could use, although most people will prefer mechanical FI (Hilborn or RSA Bendix) or carbs. If M85 were readily sold I would cnvert an old motorcycle or sports car to straight M85 use "just for the hell of it". M100 is available for racing and for making homebrew biodiesel locally but not conveniently. And at over $3/gal.

If high sulfur coal were fully exploited they could manufacture methanol for a little over a dollar a gallon. By the time you add distribution and road tax that makes it at least $1.80/gal which by heat energy corresponds to $3.10/gal gasoline. Gas out here is headed for $1.99 as we speak-I fueled up (gasoline) at $2.11 today!

Cheap gas, a mixed blessing.
