Oil pan question

I have a '92 Dodge Dynasty, 148,000 mi, 3.3L A604. I have an oil leak that I believe is coming from where the oil pan meets the block. My questions are::

Is this sealed using RTV, or by a gasket? If RTV, is their an OEM gasket available (like the gasket that you can get, and I use, for the tanny pan)? I have never had any luck with RTV, no matter how carefully I try to use it. If no OEM gasket, can you recommend an aftermarket?

I know this sounds like a lot of question, but I want to fix this leak so I don't have to worry about it again for a while.

Assuming you mean the front of the engine is where it is leaking. Alot of times the timing chain cover gasket with break and the oil will leak to the oil pan making it look like the pan gasket is leaking. but yes, you need to use an RTV to the 4 points at which the timing chain cover and the rear main oil seal retainer meet.
