Any high grade imbecile knows the ignition switch should be a dash-mounted spst



20a rated toggle, not a impossible to diagnosis electronic module.

That way, if you suspect a bad switch, you can jumper it with a piece of 18 ga zip and two alligator clips if the problem goes away, youve solved the problem without the benefit of a VOM or even a Sun Master Tester.

Yes, your condemning a good number of children a year to death, because without benefit of a lock on the ignition, the kids are going to climb into the car and switch it on and roll it into traffic.

Just like without benefit of strong gun control, you get morons like you who run out and buy guns then leave them loaded in the bedroom, where the kids can get at them and kill each other by accident.

But of course, since neither of these things ever happens, I guess you might be right.
