Breaking Citroen XM

Drove my XM to Ireland last week. A little worried before setting off as it had developed a minor coolant leak that I couldn't find.

Didn't have any coolant problems - but just short of the ferry at 2 in the morning, in the depths of the North Wales banjo country, the gearbox blew a cog !

So, I'm finally breaking the ex-Jarkman Citroen XM.

H reg, RHD, 2 litre injection. 151K miles.

Valve guides disappeared years ago. Small hole in side of front nosecone. Minor coolant leak. No 5th gear. Recent suspension tweakery up front and new disks on the back. Alloys (the sort with the centre solid plastic disk trim).

Still drives ! I did nearly 1000 with it in this state. Taxed for another month and MOT'ed for 6.

It's in Bristol (or Newport / Pontypool - South Wales) if anyone wants it. Free to good home who will use the bits for some XM-related purpose.

Now the bad news - no seats or the leather interior. These are turning into a sofa and armchair !
