Renault 5 GT Turbo or Escort RS Turbo - which is best/cheapest to run ?

Some friends have decided to get the cars they always dreamed of owning, both 1989 examples of Renault 5 GT Turbo, and Ford Escort RS Turbo.

But both of these vehicles are actually good at what they do, they're just suffering from image exhaustion. Maybe this is the start of a turnaround of furtune?
