I can see it making sense for a museum or private collection, but can't imagine anyone would ever want to use it seriously. Apparently a couple of Stag FFs were also made, but had massive turning circles as a result of the modified front setup. If this one's the same, that could be a major handicap.

Is it actually FF 4X4 as it doesn't say so in the ad?

I read somewhere that it is, probably in the practicalclassics forum where it was also discussed. Also, I suppose it's logical that there may still have been links between Ferguson and Triumph from the Standard days.

I'm sure I've heard elsewhere that Ferguson were working with Triumph on various prototypes, so it'd be unlikely to be using anything else.

Yes they do quote that in the ad with the correction that the engine capacity is only 3.0l

Well yes, 4 wheel drive but nothing about Ferguson Formula. Although it's probably just an omission since Willy has read about the car elsewhere.

Spares for the Stag engine are easy enough. Dunno about the body, though.
