my 2000 Grand Caravan SE the lock in the hatch won't work. You can use the automatic unlock button and then open it but when you put the key in it won't budge. Tried WD40 and such no luck. Any suggestiosn?

my 2000 Grand Caravan SE the lock in the hatch won't work. You can use the automatic unlock button and then open it but when you put the key in it won't budge. Tried WD40 and such no luck. Any suggestiosn?
Does the key turn in the lock? If yes then the plastic tail has come lose from the lock cam. If the key does not turn the lock the lock is bad or a tumbler is jammed in the sheer area.
