Heres a couple quick ways to tell......

Do you have a little red L.E.D on you dash that flashes?? Or does it say "THEFT"??

Sit in your car, Hit lock on your remote, wait 60 seconds and start your car.If your car starts you don't have an alarm.

Is it a ford remote??

When you hit lock on the remote does it honk your horn or does it make a chirp from a siren?

Chances are you have P.A.T.S., This is a computer chip in your key that will only allow the car to start if it sees that chip.

And to find that code, take the cover off the jack compartment and look inside. Your unlock code will be in there on a white sticker, 4 numbers I think. I needed to get a small mirror to see mine. I also hear its in the owner's manual.
