I have a 1999 Ford Taurus and cruise control light on dash blinks when set is pressed. Some time it will work, mostly not. When it does work it probably will cut-off just riding down the road. Could someone tell me what to look for?

First thing is to take your car to autozone or another place to see if they can pull any OBDII codes from your car's computer.
It's probably a bad sensor or something.
