93 ford taurus dies when im dirveing please help

My car keeps going dead while im driving. It runs great other than this one problem. It will start right back up but goes dead again when it is put back in drive. It useualy does this twice before it starts and stays running, untill the next time it happens. please help

is the IAC valve on the breather or on the intake? OH and thanks for the help......... Jason
