Anyone know what the towing capacity is for 5.0L mustang? And was there a factory towing package for it?

Don't know exatly, but most small cars (V8 or otherwise) are rated only about
1000 lbs or so. FFuzzfactor opined in news: snipped-for-privacy@mb-m11.aol.com:
YEAH....and imagine the famously ass-light fox-body braking hard with a trailer in tow.. esp on a wet roadway.
And to make it worse... running stock Goodyears.

half ton might be stretching it.
