Hi. The truck does this sometimes and other times it does not. The truck reaches high RPM before it shift into the next gear and then it gives a 'buck'. After the truck bucks, then the light on the shift knob starts to blink. It continues to do this until the vehicle is shut down. Then, it might not do it again until later in the day. It does it when the truck is warm and when its cold. I think its somekind of module problem. comments appreciated please.

It sounds like it is missing a shift, and a scan tool will probably pick up an error code relating to which gear is missing. Although it is technically possible for the module to cause the problem, it is more likely an internal trans concern. There is a point at which one could say "try this, i've seen this before" but it sounds like in this case you need to go to a shop for diagnosis.
well, i dont have any check engine light codes. i just drove it around today and its fine. its kind of wierd
