Put an airplane in 5 mph rush hour traffic and see how long it takes to cook itself. That constant 100 knot airflow over the cylinders helps a little you know.

Which new factory built A/C can you get for $150K?

Piper had small ones starting around 170k back a few years ago.

Those who spend 150k on a sports car aren't looking for the ultimate in reliability, they are looking for something that is sleek, fast and draws attention. Most of the crap you mention isn't needed..... or wanted on a car like this. Bob

So the question remains, which one can you buy NOW for $150k? Bob

I was recently looking at used aircraft prices, alot of the used pipers go for about that much now, you can get some twin props from the 60-70's for

150-200k. I cant believe how much planes cost! Id still like to own one someday.

They are relatively inexpensive to build yourself, though it would take a coupe of years of free time to to it right. That's where the expense comes in - most are very labor intensive to build.

Still, why they can't have decent interiors or soundproofing, I'll never know.
