Thunderbird V6 Fuel Injectors

My '88 T'bird stumbles when starting off from rest, and sometimes stalls. Only 70,000 miles. Plugs are new. Do the injectors need cleaning yet? If so, what is the best way of cleaning them?

Thanks for any tips!

Try a fuel filter first..............

LH opined in news:3fd19914$0$13673$ snipped-for-privacy@news.optusnet.com.au:

After you change the fuel filter, take the thing someplace where they can pull the codes (this is the EECIV system)

Do you have idle problems? The idle should be 650-750 rpm after 1 min from cold and should go there within few seconds from stop.

COULD be the Throttle Position Sensor among other things

IIRC, the TPS could be bad and not lite the Check Engine indicator
